Another camporee come and gone! We had so much fun this year, going to stations like knife throwing, tomahawk throwing, and archery. We cut logs in half, watched blacksmiths at work, played gaga ball, walked around blindfolded, went through an agility course, and more. There are always so many things to do at camporee, and we always try our best to get to them all. We made some good food back at camp, and went to a camp wide campfire with skits from a lot of patrols, including our own!
One thing we did this year that we haven’t done before is perform the opening flag ceremony! We got to be in charge of raising the flag in front of the camp to start out the activities, which is a pretty unique experience.
Another new thing for this campout is that for the first time, we had not only class B troop shirts, we also had(drumroll please) our new troop *jackets*!! We got a lot of complements on how much troop spirit we had!
