The Scouts from Troop 1920 brought families and friends along and attended Scout Night at the Frederick Keys Baseball Game. It was the second game of a double-header between the Frederick Keys and the Lynchburg Hillcats.

At this point, we had gotten some new scouts recently, and this was one of the first adventures some of the scouts had been on.

We participated in a parade before the game, where we got to walk on the field while proudly displaying our new Troop Flag.

We were full of so much scout spirit and crowd enthusiasm that we even made it on the big screen twice. Some scouts also had fun at the playground nearby.

We cheered, we shouted, we caught hot dog projectiles, and we had so much fun watching the game!

Bonus – the Keys even won the game against Lynchburg 9-2! I’m sure it was because we cheered so loudly!

After the game, some of the Scouts chose to run the bases before watching some amazing fireworks, getting our tents, watching “A Bug’s Life” on the big screen, and settling down for the night.

This was such a fun event, and we definitely want to do it again!
