We woke up early on Wednesday, and gathered the flags. We split up into two groups, and went around stabbing metal poles into the ground, and putting flags on them, so that people could be patriotic!
The real fun happened at the end of the day, when we came back to put away the flags, because it had rained ALL DAY. which means the flags were wet. Which means we had to have wet flags waving in the wind, and in our faces. What made it even more interesting though, is that it started to rain in the middle of the pick-up!! It started light, until eventually, it was pounding against the roofs of the cars, and we were all soaked. Soon, we regrouped, and consolidated the flags and everything. We brought them over to where we stored them, and put them away. The flags were drying, and our work for the day was done.
